Good but not West Coast

"Drinking this one now and am fairly happy but have a suggestion. The decision to use Verdant yeast is, I feel, errant. Verdant is really a hazy/NEIPA yeast, and this recipe, being labelled a West Coast IPA, definitely looks out of place being so hazy. I used Biofine, Whirfloc and cold crashing but there's no way this is gonna clear. But its not just the haze, fermenting at the recommended temp also imparts some really fruity esters that I would argue don't belong in this style. Its a mismatch of fruitiness, haze and bitterness that don't really play together well. If I was to brew this one again I would definitely sub out the verdant for some Bry97, or even good old US05. Just my 2 cents."

Airlock smells amazing

"Really easy brew. Highly recommend. Only comment is the recipe in Brewfather was slightly different to Kegland instructions (fermentation temp was a little different). Can’t wait for sampling."
