"To start with this is my first time using Vinka so I thought I would start with a basic mixer. First impression: This is a great product but not perfect (FOR ME). Now I don't understand why but it DOES get better with time. ( I am 4 days in. ) I don't like things overly sweat so when I made it, I reduce the sugar by 25% ( 510G for 19l mix) That said, when I tried it a day after making it was still too sweet for me ( I am mostly a beer drinker ( But I know my cocktails as a previous owner of a night club) and so I chose this cocktail as it is fairly dry when made right (IMO). Temperature is also important. The colder it gets the less sweat it tastes. ( that's how flavor works, try a cup of melted ice cream and you will understand what I mean. ) so make it with lots of ice. At the 4th day mark the flavour has improved but I have found it wanting that crisp bitterness of this cocktail still, So I started sprinkling Citric acid into my glass and Boom!!!!. It's Wonderful. I would imagine a fresh squeeze of lemon will probably do the same trick. Great innovation KL. I am going to try a bourbon now. When are you going to make a 19L Mojito!. or maybe a southern philippines "Ming mong" !!! :)"
