Easy to Clean
This fermenter is made from super smooth PET so it's easy to clean.  Just use a small scoop of StellarClean (Powerful Brewery Wash) and wipe it clean after a 5 minute soak.  No scrubbing necessary.

Large 120mm Opening
The opening at the top is signficantly larger then the older Snub Nose or other similar fermenters.  This bad boy has 120mm opening so even brewers with large arms can easily get into the top making cleaning even easier.

Pressure Rated
This fermenter is rated up to 2.5bar so you can force carbonate just like a keg.  You can use this fermenter for closed transfers and signficantly reduce oxygen exposure.

Crystal Clear
The wall of the All Rounder is crystal clear so you can see what's going on inside.  This makes it really easy to determine visually how the fermentation, how the yeast is flocculating etc.

Impermeable
The PET plastic is not permeable like some other fermenters made from PP or HDPE.  The fermenter wall is a much better gas barrier keeping your product fresher for longer.

No Flavour and Aroma Carry Over
Other HDPE fermenters tend to be so pourous they carry flavour and aroma from one batch to another.

Robust and Difficult to Damage
Impossible to smash like glass.  The tank is impact resistant but light weight and easy to use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This tank should not be used for hot liquid.  Do not put liquids inside this tank over 50C.  It will melt the tank.  Also this tank comes pressure tested however we recommend that every 2 years you re-hydro test this tank yourself.  Please contact us for more information regarding how to hydro test or refer to the hydro-test instruction manual in the 'instructions' tab.

We would also like to point out that the photos are of the FermZilla - All Rounder 30L with a red plastic pressure kit. Those items are not included in the standard kit.
The FermZilla 30L All Rounder is the perfect fermentation vessel that can be used for fermenting under pressure, carbonating and dispensing.  It's far more capable than the FermZilla Flat bottom but it's less complicated and less expensive than the FermZilla Conical Unitank.  So like the name says it's the "All Rounder".

If you want to use this product under pressure we would recommend that you use the pressure kit

Warnings:
Please read the instructions thoroughly before use. The current version can be found in the 'instructions' tab above. We will not be held liable for misuse or mishandling of the unit contrary to the instructions.
Keeping the units out of direct sunlight is a must for all PET fermenters. Sunlight degrades PET.

Please note:
When using this vessel under pressure. You must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof. To do this. Fill your FermZilla up with water, then apply a minimum of 15psi pressure to the vessel. Check for leaks around all Cap / Threads.

Occasionally these units may come with some small indentations/dimples/dents from shipping, this is just a reality of shipping large blow-moulded thin-walled vessels. But dont panic, these fermenters are designed to endure minor deformations such as this. This was a necessary implementation into the design so that they can withstand some accidental suction from cold crashing and rough handling in transit without compromising their integrity and ability to endure high pressures. All small dents will push out and settle with use and positive pressure and are only an issue and warrant replacement in the rare event they start to show white stress patterns or have damaged the plastic.

If you want a larger model do also have the FermZilla 60L All Rounder too.

Great Fermenter

"Clear so you can see the fermentation process. It's super easy to clean, with no sharp edges. You can apply pressure if you want to pressure ferment, or when cold crashing so it eliminates suck back. This fermenter also comes at a great price."

Easy set-up

"Quick, easy to setup. Checking brew content progress makes future brewing adjustments easier due to clear container"

Great unit. Beers seem fresher

"Great unit. Beers seem fresher and I'm using less CO2 as the fermenter is keeping it and hop aroma in the beer"

Using the 30L All Rounder for Bottling

"I use this fermenter without pressure fermentation but use some of the pressure accessories in bottling. I really like the overall design of this fermenter from easy cleaning to efficiency in extracting as much beer as possible from the fermenter during bottling. It’s excellent being able to watch the fermentation process but cover the fermenter with a dark tablecloth to help prevent the possibility of light affecting the beer . For bottling I initiate the flow through the syphon to the bottling wand using a camping pump in deflate mode, once the fluid approaches the Duotight ball valve I close the valve, disconnect the pump and then connect the bottling wand to start the process. The ball valve gives great control in the event of having to stop the fluid flow, much more reliable than the spring valve in the wand. I have removed the filter float from the pressure fermenting gear in order to access as much fluid as possible towards the end of the bottling process. By carefully tilting the fermenter in its metal stand as much beer as possible can be extracted and with care no trub should enter the bottles. The tube has been trimmed so when tilted the filter sits just above the surface of the fermenter wall in the remaining fluid and when upright the filter floats well clear of the bottom and the trub. The tube and filter do retain some buoyancy on their own. I like to make double batches and have two 30L All Rounders for ease of handling and to experiment with different yeasts. To maintain the flow for bottling when transferring from a depleted fermenter to the next full one I ensure no air enters the line of the almost empty fermenter. I Close the ball valve, then quickly disconnect from the post of the depleted fermenter and connect to the post of the full fermenter. I Open the ball valve and drain through the syphon into a container until any air is released, then continue with bottling. The fluid flow in the line is enough to draw down the beer in the full fermenter but if for some reason that doesn’t happen or air enters the line, the initial process with the camping pump is still available."

"The Fermzilla arrived but the lid didn’t have an oring in it. I have emailed your team and am waiting for a reply from Angus."
