How To:

1. Please login or create an account with your email in order to keep track of the order number.

2. Purchase this product here on our website. (Adjust up to 6 samples via the quantity in your cart)
Bulk up the order with a couple of friends that Brew. Cheaper per sample if you go the maximum 6 Samples. Or take multiple samples over the months and get tested to see what the ionic levels were.

3. Payment Method: Complete your purchase with a method of instant payment. E.g. Credit Card / Paypal

4. Shipping Method: For shipping options please choose Request A Quote if you are mailing them in to us. |
Or customer pick up if you wish to use our 24/7 lockers as a drop off service. Important: Call us or shoot us an email when you have dropped off your samples. We will retrieve them immediately.

If using our lockers we will assign you a locker and send you the roller door code, locker number and locker passcode via email. Then simply open you locker, place your samples in the locker. Then lock the locker and send beer@kegland.com.au an email once it has been placed in the locker.

5. Print and fill out this form in regards to how many samples you have purchased - Water Testing Label Sheet

Stick the sample stickers on your bottles and make sure to take note of what each sample correlates with especially if submitting samples from different water sources.

6. The testing lab will only accept PET or HDPE Bottles of 500mL. For example these 500mL bottles are perfect and easy to ship. KegLand 24 x 500mL PET Bottles with Caps

The testing company will not accept glass or any other material than what is listed above.

7. The testing period can take from 4 to 14 days to complete. These results will be emailed to you as soon as they are completed.

Brewing Water Testing Service

Utilise KegLands Water Testing Service to determine the exact concentration of Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Chlorine, Sulphate, total alkalinity and Bicarbonate in your water. This will allow you to absolutely nail the water profile on your next brew to match your desired style of beer perfectly.

We all know how important water chemistry is, when the majority of your beer is made up of water you want to make sure that you can accurately hit your target water profiles to suit your beer style. Trying to hit this profile without an accurate water report is like driving blind.

Take the guess work out of water chemistry by getting your water tested and then plug these values into a reliable brewing software such as BrewFather which makes water chemistry easy!

What results will you get?
Results for the following will be emailed to you as soon as the testing has been completed:

Calcium - Ca²⁺
Magnesium - Mg²⁺
Sodium - Na⁺
Chloride - Cl^-
Sulphate - SO₄^-
Bicarbonate - HCO₃
Total Alkalinity

How often should you test your water?
It is advised that you regularly test your mains water as the salt or ion content and alkalinity of your water can vary due to the time of the year, whether it has recently rained, the reservoir supplying your mains water etc.

For the most accurate results, test your water at different times of the year and in different weather as these impact the quality of your water.
