Metamorphosis pours a deep, burnished copper with a sturdy, off-white head, hinting at the complex malt character within. Emerge from the hop cocoon with powerful aromas of sticky pine resin, dank earth, and sharp grapefruit pith, all thanks to a classic onslaught of Columbus, Cascade, and Simcoe hops. The palate is a battleground where formidable hops and a complex malt bill collide. An assertive bitterness delivering pine and citrus is met with a rich backbone of caramel, toasted biscuit, and dark toffee from a blend of Victory and Crystal malts.
