The PolyPhoenix N-7 Azeo Vodka Reflux Still is an all-in-one solution for easy azeotropic distillation - this is the very best way to ensure you get the cleanest, highest purity neutral spirit. 7 Straight Extensions filled with high quality SPP (Spiral Prismatic Packing) ensure you will collect nothin but the purest possible neutral spirit.
The SPP can also be removed from the column if you want to convert this to a Pot Still. FOr example, make neutral spirit first, then remove the packing and run the sprit (after dilution) back through along with your botanicals to make delicious gin! (We would add a Gin Basket or two to make this easy)

About PolyPhoenix
The PolyPhoenix modular distillation range are primarily made out of a material called PPSU.
This material is 100% safe with hot alcohol vapour that will not leech any chemicals into your product.
PPSU is an excellent choice for components that are exposed to high temperatures (up to 200°C) and corrosive media due to its exceptional chemical resistance. As well as being extremely impact resistant.
We have decided to use this type of plastic because it also has superior thermal and mechanical properties with the added benefit of being transparent. This will allow us to injection mold intricate parts that would have been near impossible to do in stainless steel or lab-grade glass. Because this is a very unique type of plastic, it comes at a much higher cost per kg than other industrial plastics. So much so that it costs more than stainless steel.
The PolyPhoenix Condenser can be used in multiple configurations for your distillation set up. Most commonly it is used in the hammerhead configuration (horizontal). But it can also be used Vertically with some quick adjustments to the 3" TC housings.

"I have used this 3 times and have have it dialed in. The quality of the neutral spirit is top notch especially after a second distillation run. I struggled a little with the water flow at the start running the condensers in parallel so changed to running them in series and it worked perfectly. Also used the rapt thermometer to send messages as vapour temp changed. Being clear is helpful as you can see the vapour start to climb the column at the start of the run and the water vapour towards the end. Only negative is there is a bit of flex in the column noticeable when you connect the hoses so I used a Velcro strap to shed wall to counter this. I Also recommend ordering some longer S4 support brackets and doubling them up to support the shotgun condenser properly."

"Absolute beast of a still. Pretty easy to set up and it runs like a dream. Knocks down anything the boiler throws at it very quickly and produces an excellent final product of high purity. I love the adaptability of the setup knowing that I can customise it to any needs. I'm glad I waited for this to come out. The prismatic packing is something else! It works great and is easy to clean."

"Only been home distilling for 3 - 4 years, started small and made some messes, (all with gas heating), lol. Worked my way up to this PolyPhoenix N-7 Azeo and as the heading states, AWESOME. I still know precious little about this art but this Still makes it so easy. The electrics are simple and to me logical to follow. I only do store bought sugar runs and for the only two runs I have done 95% steady through it all, and clean & pure to boot. So easy, Love it to bits. The whole unit is very neat and tidy, takes up minimal space (I have made a 4 wheeled trolley board for it to sit on and move it about easily). Love the vapor release tube at the top of the hammerhead, it cannot get too high in pressure when hoses are fully clamped. All in All I am now grinning constantly while IT is working and doing a bloody great job. Thanks."

I'd be upset if I bought a different still just a few months ago before this came out.
"This thing is awesome. I recommend the YouTube videos from KegLand on this item. I have learned a couple of things since owning one that make it even more impressive. Acid washing and cleaning the SPP in-place: Hook up some silicon temp rated hose (available here) and cycle near boiling water with the Brewzilla. I hardly feel the need to break the system down for cleaning. So easy. Liquid take-off: Because the liquid take-off happens directly beneath the Hammerhead dephlegmator, with a 3500KW boiler, it can pull down almost 6l/h during a stripping run. You would be hard pressed to get such a good rate with just vapour through the product condenser."
