The dark malt complementing nature of this yeast makes it a perfect fit for any big, malt driven dark lagers. While well-suited for dark lagers, this yeast also performs well in producing lagers derived from a pale worts.

We recommend a brief diacetyl rest at ~15-18.3ºC (60-65ºF) (2-3 days) at the end of primary fermentation. An extended lagering phase at 0.5-1ºC (33-35ºF) will encourage the yeast to settle and create a clean profile.

We highly recommend a Dry Ice Pack or two for your yeasts voyage OR for a short stay in our pick up lockers in the warmer months of the year.
Please choose Australia Post Express if you want to reduce the the risk of transit time delay and its affect on your yeast.

Attenuation 74% - 78%
Flocculation Medium - Low
Optimum Temperature 9°C - 11°C
