Great Yeast
"Thanks for stocking liquid yeast. They are becoming more difficult to source, especially this true German Ale yeast from Koln. There isn't a dry yeast equivalent."
KL33954
Sourced from a small brewpub in Cologne, Germany, this strain is fitting for German ales such as kölsch and altbier. Known for accentuating hop flavour and bitterness while creating crisp, clean lager like characters, it performs exceptionally well at temperatures ranging from 65° to 69°F (18-20°C) and does not ferment well below 62°F (17°C) after peak fermentation. Typically has low flocculation characteristics after the first generation.
We highly recommend a Dry Ice Pack or two for your yeasts voyage OR for a short stay in our pick up lockers in the warmer months of the year.
Please choose Australia Post Express if you want to reduce the the risk of transit time delay and its affect on your yeast.
