Reviews

The hop spider has been

"The hop spider has been really handy. Not only does it keep all your hops inside, when running the pump during brewing I aim the liquid from the recirculation arm to go inside the spider and it helps to filter out any grain or particles left over from the mash, meaning cleaner wort transferred to the no-chill cube."

Great way to keep less

"Great way to keep less trub in the wort. It has great quality as per shown in the website ."

Great product

"Awesome for keeping hops out of your pump and a great price"

Kaleb (5/5)

I bought this to replace

"I bought this to replace a different hop spider. The gauze on this one is open enough to allow plenty of wort around the hops, but not too open that too many hop particles escape. I’m very happy with it"

Tim H. (5/5)

Hop spider

"Great product. As I BIAB I also use the spider to strain the wort into my no chill container."

Paul C. (5/5)

Efficient and Value for Money

"This hop spider is great value for money, especially when you compare it to other hop baskets, and it does the exact same job!!! Why would you buy anything else??? Since using it, I have not had hops clogging up my keg lines. So good!!!"

Lee R. (5/5)

Great buy

"Chucked the hops in here and extracted well. Will use when I make a Belgian wit with orange and spices"

Quite surprising first time you use it

"First time I've used one of these and I'm surprised how well it works. Once you've finished your boil, just pull the spider and leave it to drain. So no troubles with over bittering or excess hop material clogging pumps and lines. Makes clean up a breeze"

Lachlan S. (5/5)

Works well

"It's bigger then I expected and works great"

Colin K. (5/5)

Very happy

"The mesh is just right, not too coarse that it doesn't filter and not too fine that it clogs up and sturdy enough that that I can tap it on the bench and it is good to go."

Q&A

How long is this including the hook? I'm wondering if it would get close enough to the bottom of a Brewzilla 35L, when doing small (e.g. 10 L) batches.
About 410mm including the hook
