Superdelic is a playful, versatile hop that displays characteristics of red fruit, candy, citrus and tropical fruits.
It is an excellent choice for a single hop addition and pairs well with other fruity hops such as Citra, Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Riwaka in hop-forward beers such as Hazy IPA's, NEIPAs and Hazy Pale Ales.
Superdelic also exhibits great biotransformation properties during active fermentation revealing flavours of ripe mango, sweet berry and citrus notes.
To maximise fruity flavours from biotransformation dry hop towards the end of active fermentation and use a yeast variety that has good biotransformation potential such as LalBrew Premium Series - New England Yeast x 11g or LalBrew Premium Series - Verdant IPA Yeast x 11g.
