Directions For Use
Concentrate - Spray Bottles, Scrubbing, Beer Lines
Use 10-15g per 1L (1.5-2oz per gal)

CIP Cleaning
Use 2.5-5g per 1L (1/3-2/3oz per gal)

Soaking of Kettles, Fermenters, Kegs and Tanks
Use 0.5-1g per 1L (3/4-1.5oz per 10 gal)

1 Scoop is 20g (3/4oz)
Rinse vessels with same temperature water used after cleaning

StellarClean (Powerful Brewery Wash PBW) is a buffered alkaline detergent that has been proven to be more than an effective substitute for caustic soda cleaners. Because of its unique formulation of buffers and mild alkalis, it is safe on skin as well as soft metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and on plastics.  StellarClean uses active oxygen to penetrate carbon or protein soils and is not effected by hard water. 

StellarClean has been formulated as a C.I.P. cleaner and is very effective in removing protein soils found on brew kettles, fermenters, conditioning tanks, filters and all packaging areas. The concentrations to remove these soils are typically in the 1% range. However, due to soil and water conditions this concentration will vary. To help in hard water areas StellarClean has been formulated with enough chelators to tolerate hard water over 17 grains.

StellarClean is an excellent choice as a soak cleaner because it does not require excessive heat as do most caustic based cleaners. This product has cleaned brass and copper filters, and industrial aluminum surfaces successfully.

Many customers in Australia just use pure sodium percarbonate such as our StellarOxy as a cleaner however this as a single ingredient is not effective across a wide range of soiling.  As a result if you repeatedly use 100% sodium percarbonate you will eventually start to notice a build up of grime, scale, oils which sodium percarbonate alone is not effective against.  As a result we recommend this product.  StellarClean is effective across a wide range of soiling and contains 8 active ingredients to tackle a wide range of compounds.  This ensures your cleaning performance is maintained irrespective of how hard/soft your water is and also what your fermenter contains.

So for a superior formulation that has specifically been made for the beverage industry you really cant go past this very effective cleaning product.

Ionic Surfactants 40%, Sodium Peroxycarbonate 35%, Sodium Silicate 25%.
