If you're finding you're sucking too much yeast through your black fermenter tap on your HDPE fermenter or equivalent, we stock this nifty little device to minimise the amount of pick up of yeast/trub and hops.
Orientate in the best way you see fit. Most of the time users use it either to the side, or with it completely facing up so that it takes a higher sample of beer.

"Simple design, simply raises the drawing line of the liquid a few mm. Very snug fit in the spout, so you won't get anything drawing out from underneath. Note though that you may need to clear a bit more before drawing a sample with this in place as you won't have much if any circulation of fermenting beer within the spout as you do without it."
