Easy to replace

"Easy to replace. They do discolour over time so nice to replace"

Works fine until it crumbles and splits.

"Fine when it works, but mine seem to go crumbly and split (see photo). And I guess before it fails completly I'm drinking the powdery bits that pass through the filter. Re the Crumbling. . . . Perhaps its the Atomic sterilizer (acidic) which is left in the bottles (or the Line cleaner (Alkaline) which I usually rinse and then put some sterilizer in the bottles for storage). Design it out ?. . . Would it be possible to redesign those tap heads to have the tap connect sloping so that the connect tube inside the bottle slopes down and then a flexible tube could slip straight on with only a slight bend. That would eliminating this part (and the stiff tube) altogether. As it is I DO use a flexible tube when these fail, but it does tend to kink."

Product is great. Shipping at

"Product is great. Shipping at over $9 for this item is outrageous. It took over 9 days to reach Brisbane. Could have put in envelope and stamp and I would have received it in 3 days. Big sad face."

An Unfortunate Failure Point

"Unfortunately these can split after opening and closing the mini keg several times. Trying to pour beer with co2 being pulled into the line is an experience I would prefer not to have to sort out again after getting 7 beers into the evening. These oxybar kegs are awesome, unfortunately this a a failure point so best to carry spares until a better option is offered."

They tend to split after

"They tend to split after two uses. Once they do its impossible to pour from the keg. Need to develop a better system."

Robin H. (2/5)
