When you drop you gas
"When you drop you gas bottle and brake you gauge this it just what you need."
KL02226
0-4500 PSI gauge
Brass construction
1/4 NPT thread (to suit most regulators)
If you are looking here you have probably just damaged or busted your regulator gauge. Luckily they are easy to replace. Just un-screw the gauge and then screw in the new one. Best to use a small dab of Thread Lock glue on the threads. Let this cure for 24 hours to ensure a sela.
These regulator gauges can also be used on many other devices as the 1/4 NPT thread is fairly standard and it will suit most standard regulators. Annoyingly Micromatic use an unusual Left Hand thread so this gauge will not fit Micromatic regulators but almost all other regulators will be compatible.
Gauges are delicate bits of equipment and they can easily get damaged even with a light knock. If you don't want to have to replace your gauges again save yourself the hasstle and get one of these gauge guards. You will not regret it!
See below for a video to show you how to fit the gauges - rememeber to also use a dab of Thread Lock glue

"Not sure if I can fit this without specialist tools, but will give it a go. My advice would be to buy a Gauge Guard and avoid the mistake I made. :-)"
"I put a new one in the MK 4 regs and tightened it and it doesn't line up with the other reg and body. The video link is from a third party and useless. If I back it up on the thread it leaks because it doesn't seat properly. If I put thread tape on it it seals but it's still able to turn by hand. Maybe I'll have to use some sort of glue?"
"In my entry to kegging, I bought some second hand gear which included the gas bottles. Unfortunately both had suffered the same fate, you can guess… While the old ones did not seem to leak, bought these to replace them. The old ones were buggers to remove (thread locker?), I used Teflon gas tape (yellow) as a safety measure. So far so good!"
"Easy to install, replaced one that was damaged in a fall."
"Great quality. Saved me buying a new regulator"
"Dropped and damaged the old one. Got this as replacement, great price"
