The NukaTap SS can be used with an Auto-Close Spring. By inserting the spring between the shank and tap body this will cause the tap to automatically close when you let go of the handle of the tap handle (as shown in photo 2).
This is perfect for customers who may not be diligent enough to remember to completely turn off the tap after each pour. Or for those with little kids or pesky cats that knock everything around!

(Please Note: The spring is not compatible with the NukaTap FC Models.  If you need a spring for the Nukatap FC model then click here.)
*NukaTap Shank, Tap Handle sold separately

Thank goodness for these!

"I was sick of losing precious amber (and sometimes black, or brown or red) fluid through loose or sticky taps (yes I did clean them), or being accidentally knocked. These springs work a treat! Thanks guys"

Don't bother

"Used to work, after just one keg of usage the tap sticks to the open position slightly and drips quickly or stays fully open. And yes I cleaned it fully to remove any old sticky beer."

Q&A

I have the gen 2 model. Nothing I do helps stop foam. It does work better with the flow control parts removed. I have a kegerator… temp is around 40 degrees …. Co2 at 15 psi. And the beer is a wheat beer. Any ideas
Flow control only controls pour speed, so if you have over carbonation, it will not be effective.
