This cylinder can dispense a little over 60 liters of stout or nitro coffee.

Stout and nitro coffee requires high pressures (such as 2-3bar) so the product can push through the perforated disk that is inside our nitro spouts like this.  These elevated pressures require nitrogen because if CO2 was used at this high pressure the CO2 would absorb into solution and overcarbonate your beverage (if it's stored cold).  As a result nitrogen is necessary.

Nitrogen doesn't dissolve into solution like CO2.  Even at elevated pressures only small amount of nitrogen will dissolve into solution.  It doesn't form the weak hydrogen bond with the liquid like CO2 and for that reason, it does not dissolve into water-based beverages easily like CO2.

Directions for use
This bottle is compatible with our Mini 360 Core Actuator Regulator with an adaptor for 2.2L Nitrogen Cylinders.
1. Remove the protection cap from the valve.
2. Screw the adaptor for Nitrogen Cylinders (G1/2" x M10 Female) into the Mini 360 Core Actuator Regulator. Note: You may need to remove the reducing bush for gas bulbs from the Mini 360 Core Actuator Regulator.
3. Connect the cylinder valve onto the regulator. It is recommended that you use a spanner to hold the neck of your Nitrogen cylinder while attaching and detaching the Mini 360 Core Actuator Regulator. Do not overtighten your cylinder into the regulator.
4. Screw the thumbscrew on the Mini 360 Core Actuator Regulator in to depress the valve on the Nitrogen Cylinder.
5. Set the outlet flow/pressure on the regulator. Please note to turn off the gas you must remove the regulator from the cylinder.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are removing the regulator at any point you MUST use a spanner to hold the brass neck of the cylinder. Failure to do so could cause the strong adhesive glue to crack and the cylinder detaches from the fitting.
6. Perform a leak test on your system.

To avoid the chance of leaks and returning to an empty bottle, please triple-check every connection point on your system or disconnect your gas cylinder between uses.

Feedback

"Hi Team, I wanted to share some feedback on my recent purchase of the 2. 2L Nitrogen Disposable Gas Cylinder (N2) along with the regulator. Firstly, I’m a big fan of your products and regularly recommend KegLand gear—particularly when it comes to nitrogen use in beer systems. In this instance though, I ran into an issue where the setup wouldn’t seal properly and continued to leak. I’m not entirely sure whether the fault sits with the regulator or the cylinder nozzle, but I wasn’t able to get it functioning as intended. I’m not necessarily chasing a replacement or refund—more just passing this on as feedback, as it was a bit disappointing compared to my usual experience with your products. That said, if there’s something I may have missed or you have any suggestions, I’d be open to trying them. As someone who strongly advocates for nitrogen in beer, I’d encourage you to review this setup or consider alternative options to improve reliability. Appreciate your time, and I’ll definitely continue supporting your products. Kind regards, Antony"

Nitro Circus

"Yet to use the gas but I have done some preliminary testing with my core360 regulator and it seems to be working well."

Stout like it should be.

"Amazing for nitro stout pours! I found that one can only did one keg so it’s an expensive habit. Checked for leaks constantly and didn’t find any. Will see how I go with these cans. Tip: Don’t purchase these with anything heavy or bulky or as they class as dangerous goods and the freight cost goes up accordingly. Still with freight the cheapest I can get these is with Kegland."

"Initially I had issues with the nitrogen not flowing but contacted Kegland who advised me I was over tightening the regulator."

Recent purchase.

"All good, arrived on time or earlier, easy to deal with."

Unusable

"Same problem as what RonW described in their review. Near impossible to get the fitting 'just right' to get the gas to actually come out when using the core360 regulator. Either gas won't come out or there's a leak. Core360 regulator should NOT be recommended for use with this gas bottle."

Gas Bottle

"From what I’ve seen so far this bottle is only suitable for soda stream use. Also purchased the nut and new regulator for use with my keg of stout. Followed instructions but when connecting regulator to the bottle was almost impossible to find the sweet spot on the bottle. Screw it to tight and the thumb screw doesn’t release the gas had to adjust the regulator until I heard the gas released. Tightened adjusted the thumb screw and all was fine. When finished that night loosened the thumb screw as advised. Next day went to have a stout turned the thumb screw down no gas had to readjust the regulator again until I found the sweet spot. Third day no gas bottle was empty made sure I had turned off the thumb screw which it was. Expensive exercise the old tall thin bottle and old regulator was great when doing this again will be waiting for the old bottle to become available and use my old regulator."

Perfect for charging the accumulator

"Perfect for charging the accumulator bladder on my Dirt bike, cheers!"

Nitro

"Great little cylinder but wish it came in in a 70/30 mix of nitro/co2"

Tony M. (5/5)

Good once you get the hang of it.

"It's good, I've got a Guinness clone on. You need to low carb with CO2 first and then add the nitro. It's a bit of a process but great once you get the hang of it. I agree with a previous comment. It would be great if kegland started selling the 70/30 split beer gas for us nitro beer lovers. Much easier."
