Made widely popular by the brewery Stone & Wood. Galaxy is now becoming a rarity with contracts going out to the big boys. If you see this hop available, we'd suggest to buy in bulk as the chance may not come around too often.

Galaxy has distinctly identifiable characters of passionfruit, citrus and some peach aromas. We would suggest using this strictly for aroma purposes. If using this for the majority of your IBU, it can come out tasting like Ammonia Cat Urine. (You've been warned)

Her reputation comes from the distinctly identifiable characters she brings to beer, which can range from passionfruit and peach to clean citrus aromas which are more intense the later the addition.

Wonderful hop

"What can I say? I could thank those early 2000’s Pacific Ales for introducing me to Aussie Galaxy, and it’s amazing passionfruit and pineapple and citrus notes. I’m a big fan of using it in late hop additions and dry hopping in dark beers like India Black Ales. Give it a try."
