If you are new to brewing and don't want to invest in an all grain brewing system, or simply are strapped for time to put on a brew. Fresh3 is there for you when you need it. The Fresh3 recipes contain no cost cutting adjuncts like dextrose or dried malt extract, they are 100% All Grain, all real fresh ingredients in a 15L Aseptically Filled HDPE Bag.
This FWK is a standalone base, meaning that it is not sold with Yeast or Hops like our other complete recipe kits.
Fresh3 - West Coast Style - India Pale Ale Base (FWK)
For true lovers of Westy IPA's where mild to moderate bitterness (depending on dilution) holds a key point to the overall flavour and experience, this kit is for you. We have optimised the water profile for still a hop forward presence. Think of this kit as a flip on a New England IPA where you don't want bitterness, you'd want super juicy hoppiness. Within this base, we accentuate the bitterness to counteract and harmonize with hops that may not be as juicy as that isn't true to this Fresh3 IPA Style. The hop combo used is a classic for a reason and go really well with this kit, but I should stop there. You are in control remember!
This is the All Grain F3WK is your ticket behind the curtain to craft your own homebrew without having to brew it from scratch. There are no limits to your imagination and combinations you can create. Tinker with the type of yeasts available, if you have temperature control go wild try something new and make it your own. Combinations and amounts of hops, add grapefruit zest, add whatever you truly want to make it your own. That is what the Fresh3 Base Kits are all about. That means, no recipe instructions for this kit. You're the mastermind.

"Ordered 4 of these bad boys having had good brews from them in the last, but didn't realise the recipe had swapped out two row for predominantly pilsner malt. Flavour isn't on par with what I want from my WCIPA's. . . . Annoying as the FWK's are great when you dont have time for an all grain brew"

"Very happy with how this turned out - it was convenient and good value, and gave a good result. Big pithy citrus aroma, some caramel malt sweetness, dry finish, lingering high bitterness. Diluted to 1.056, fermented with BRY-97, dry hopped with 75 g cryo hops. First time doing a fresh wort kit. Will definitely try others."

"For the price this is great base for an IPA, with loads of options to choose from for yeast and dry hops the possibilities are endless. Only gripe is when diluted to 20L the ABV is a little low for a true IPA but with a little dextrose addition you can get it into the 6% range."
