This Fresh3 [Fresh Cubed] Fresh Wort Kit is for those who dabble in the Belgian world of Blondes, Dubbels, Tripels and Quad Trappist Style Behemoth brews.
For a traditional Dry Saison style we would suggest going the Fresh3 - Lager - Base with Lallemand's Belle Saison Yeast. As that combination is an absolute dry as a bone classic, dilute to your liking strength.
But from here on out we're going to ride the Belgian New Wave and that wave is 7.5% big!, it packs a punch of that classic Belgian flavour.
Throw in some Xoakers if you want to add that oak taste that the true great Belgian Monasteries have by fermenting in Oak barrels. We won't delve into Lacto, Brett, Pedio and all the other fun wild stuff that you could do, that's for you to go nuts with.
Stay calm, concentrate.. take a breather and focus that monkish energy into not spilling a drop into that fermenter. Boom! you did it! Add that yeast, and crank that temperature up to the 25°C mark if you want to hit 88mph and go back in time with Doc to see real-time Monks making some Trappist Nectar.
Every Fresh3 Full Recipe Kit includes yeast and hops (when required). Full instructions are provided - see the Product Download tab below.
We do this to ensure that you get a tried and proven recipe that we very much enjoy and want to share with you!
Fresh3 is for the brewing time poor with other commitments, newbie brewers who haven't invested in brewing hardware, or for the lovers of pre-fermented beer (wort) to ferment out and keg. Knowing full well that it is so much cheaper than if you were to buy ready-made beer from the bottle-o.
We would normally liken fresh wort kit fermenting to building furniture from IKEA, you didn't make the table and chairs or bedframe from scratch. But bloody hell you were proud you assembled it with minimal swearing at an instruction booklet because you maybe skipped ahead without noticing. But in this case, you'll be drinking that achievement in a week or two and sharing it with your friends or family. We'd take that overpaying tens if not hundreds more for pre-made stuff. (No Allen keys necessary)
Being a company that specialises in home brewing and short draw draught systems (Kegerators), we have designed these recipe kits around kegging within a fridge as the end result. You of course can bottle/can or keg condition most of the recipes, but please note they may turn out differently from what we have crafted them to be.

"Only just added it to the fermenter yesterday. Quick shipping and a very simple wort."
"These kits are really too easy. Not my favourite fresh wort but more so the beer style not my jam than the beer itself. I haven't had many Belgian style beers so worth getting if its your style."
"This wort kit was incredibly easy to brew. Fermentation kicked off quickly and went smoothly, resulting in a Belgian-style beer with notes of spice and banana. It finished at just under 7% ABV and has more tartness and sweetness than a Leffe Blonde, but it remains well-balanced. I transferred the beer from my Beer Buddy fermenter into two 8L Oxybar kegs, one of which already had 2. 5L of previously brewed Casey’s IPA. I stored them at 4°C, and it took about a month to clear—likely because I don’t yet have the setup to cold crash below that temperature. Overall, I’m pleased with the outcome. It’s a slow sipper rather than an easy-drinker, and the IPA blend adds another layer of depth while dialing back the sweetness. My only reservation is that the non IPA blend loses its head quickly and doesn’t retain carbonation for long. If you’re thinking about trying this kit, go for it—you won’t be disappointed! Plus, the slim 8L Oxybar kegs make it easy to keep a variety of beers in the fridge."
"The Fresh3 Belgian Ale wort kit made brewing so easy and straightforward! The quality of the wort was excellent, and the final product had that rich, complex Belgian flavor with hints of spice and fruit. Fermentation went smoothly, and the beer turned out great"
"Beer in my tum."
"Easy transaction and quick delivery"
"I bought this as a quick way of knocking out a Belgian brew for my father who only drinks Belgians. I've made Rochfort clones, Westmalle, Leffe, La Trappe etc etc. Honestly I thought this would taste ok but not complex as it's just a lager base with a dry Belgian yeast. This is so good I'm shocked. I watered mine down with 4L to get it to 6.5% so it was more in style of a Leffe Blond, and it's closer than the clone I made from scratch. Good banana esters, a bit of clove, and nice sweetness without being cloying. I'll be buying again for sure, well done!"
"This is delicious and as easy to brew as making a cup of tea. My only complaint is that it's only 15L and not a full 19L to fill my keg... and it disappeared quickly!"
"Nice drop, followed the recipe. But I did hop addition from the start of the ferment - Haullertauer Buell Melon hops 100gm, and it has turned out great."
