2 inch TC butterfly valve.

"I got the valve to use as a part of the Hop Bong assembly with my Fermzilla All Rounder. Found the valve to be easy to use and fir for purpose. The only comment I have is that the valve handle only closes to about 10 degrees shy of horizontal when installed. It holds Hops no problem, but I had problems with my Glycol chiller and debated using the hop bong to add finings in solution in the event I could not cold crash. I was not confident the valve would seal against even hydrostatic. In the end I fixed the chiller. Footnote - I stripped and reassembled the valve (no issues at all). I added a little Silicon Oil to the valve stem and worked the mechanism a few times. I have since water tested the valve and tested it upto 35 psi with no observed leakage over 15 minutes. End result is 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Another good product from Kegland. PS for context I have been a Kegland customer since their inception and this is my first product review. I find their products to be generally excellent and they have helped my home brew journey immensely."

2 Inch Tri Clover Valve

"Great bit of kit. Used under a hop bong. Recommend putting some sanitary lube on seals to get a super tight and gas tight seal when using for hop bong."

Q&A

Hello, this valve came with fermzilla kit. It is incredibly hard to open and close, to the point I’m worried something will break under the force. I have tried a little bit of Dow111 on the inside but still very stiff. Any tips?
These tend to be pretty stiff out of the box! Lube and usage will sort that out.
