Chillout Threaded MKIII - Counterflow Chiller - 30 Plate Heat Exchanger
The Chillout MKIII is the fastest way to chill your wort to yeast pitching temperature to get your fermentation off to a quick healthy start.
The Chillout is made from stainless steel and brazed together with pure copper. It also has ripples up and down each plate. This creates more surface area and improves heat transfer.
To clean connect water to supply to the port where your wort was coming out and backflush the unit for a few minutes to ensure that any residue has been completely washed out.
Remember to sanitise either with boiling wort, or a short flush with StellarSan before use. Do not clean with StellarSoda or leave Phosphoric Acid based sanitisers left to store inside the plate chiller.

"MKIII Plate Heat Exchanger"
"Love it. Coming from using an immersion chiller the Heat exchanger is also a game changer, should have purchased one a long time ago..."
"Used it once, works great - chilled my wort from 100 to 30 degrees in a single pass, and then I use my fridge to drop the temperature to pitching temp. I feed the wort through by gravity, and feed cold tap water through the other side. I highly recommend using a hop spider in your boil kettle to reduce the hop material going through this chiller. Just be aware you'll need enough 1/2 inch hose to carry wort and cold water. Make sure you thoroughly clean this immediately after use. Running hot tap water straight through the wort side is a good start, but even better is pumping a hot powdered brewers wash solution through it for at least 5 mins and then doing a hot water rinse."
"After one brew session I'd call this a big upgrade from my copper immersion chiller. Cut chill time in half, at least!"
