Angelica Root is an essential gin botanical which provides an earthy and herbaceous flavour to the spirit helping balance against juniper and spice flavours.
It also used in combination with Orris Root to to bind volatile flavours and aromas which usually would be lost during hte distillation process in a process known as the fixative effect.

"Hi guys so i purchased some Angelia root and other botanicals to to play around with some gin ideas at our brewery we usually make vodka so just trying things out just been trialing by adding to some vodka that we made to see what flavour extractions we can get so far so good i have ended up with an earthy taste which is what we are after as we are trying to create something different to what ive seen out there so far ill probably grab some other varieties off you soon when i can find time to play around a bit more thanks Brett"
