Perfect for the colder months, this is a smooth and warming Oatmeal Stout recipe kit from the KegLand Brew Crew.
With complex roasted malt and choclate flavours, a kiss of sweetness from some British dark crystal and a lovely, smooth, rich body from the addition of oats, this stout is a winter warmer you'll want to drink all year round!
Trade secret - using malted oats instead of rolled or flaked gives all the smoothness and flavour, but none of the inherent issues that oats can cause in the mash.
The Dark Side Of The Schooner All Grain Recipe Kit comes with everything you need to make a smooth and rich Oatmeal Stout from scratch.Β Β
