This kit has been designed to be used with small amounts of neutral spirit up to 1L at a time. To make this kit even better, we have had customers cut the bottom of a 29L kegmenter and use it as a reservoir. Mounted upside down on the 4inch Concentric Reducer.
This kit includes enough activated carbon to fill the Extension tube twice. But 500g is more than enough to last an avid distiller a lifetime of filtering.
We highly recommend mounting your filter kit. To do this we recommend using a 2inch SS Bracket Hanger Clamp

- EVABarrier is 100% food grade safe for contact with alcohol.
- The Silicone Seals used are not lead curing silicone seals. KegLand Silicone Seals are 100% food grade safe silicone safe for use in contact with alcohol.
- duotight fittings are also 100% food grade safe to use with alcohol.
duotights are made with Acetal or POM (polyoxymethylene). Stainless Steel (The gripping teeth) and EPDM seals which have excellent chemical resistance including being compatible with ozone, oils, wide variety of alkaline and acid compounds, water, alcohol, ketone and beverages. So there is no fear of contaminating your filtered spirits using duotights.

"Great little kit at a competitive price. Super durable. Does the job extremely well. The only issue is the top funnel is quite small, meaning you are going out every 3-4 hours to top up. Definitely recommend the bracket system so you can hang it and get it out of the way."
"I purchased the funnel kit, and was disappointed when I couldn't assemble it. After many attempts I gave up a key part just would not fit. I returned to the Nobel Park store to seek expert assistance I assumed that maybe I was doing something wrong. The staff were very helpful and tried their best to fix my issue. Sadly they were unable to assemble the funnel filter as intended A key part had been changed by their supplier without their knowledge Kegland staff were able to make a temporary work around so that I could use the filter until their supplier could provide a satisfactory alternate par. I accept that things don't always go smoothly, I am very happy with how kegland dealt with the issue, Thankyou 😊"

"I set up a basic but effective gravity-fed carbon filter using a board with a 70mm hole cut at one end. This hole holds my stainless steel carbon filter securely in place, allowing me to run spirits through it with minimal fuss. As part of the prep, I'm rinsing the carbon thoroughly and soaking it overnight in distilled water — this helps remove any dust and activates the carbon for maximum effectiveness. Once it’s ready, I’ll slowly run my distilled spirits through the setup, using gravity to do the work."

"It works great. Have to put a far amount of water through to remove carbon dust. Would be good if it had some kind of a stand. I added an extra screen tri clover seal at the top to retain activated carbon when its laid on it side. Thanks Mick"
