This particular kit is a one-click option for those who want to be able to brew under pressure with a 55L Tri-Conical FermZilla. Designed as a double batch system that goes perfectly hand in hand with the BrewZilla 65L Gen3.1.1 or Gen4 if you are looking to Brew All Grain or Partial Mash beers.

This kit now includes a 600mL Collection container with a 3 Inch Tri-clover connection that is the gold standard for sanitary design and effortless removal.

This is a very good starting point for those who are just getting into pressurisable fermenters but also want to dabble in yeast harvesting and purged dry hopping. If you would prefer a more simplistic pressurisable fermenter in a similar size, we would very much recommend the 60L All Rounder FermZilla Pressure Brewing Kit. This unit does not have the added collection container / butterfly valve assembly at the bottom.

The FermZilla 55L Tri-Conical can be used in the following ways:
KL25904 ~ Basic Gravity Fermenter - New Brewers
KB07225 ~ Pressure Brewing Kit - Most Popular
KB07273 ~ Hop Bong Pressure Kit - For Intermediate Brewers
KB07321 ~ Glycol Twister Pressure Brewing Kit - Glycol Obsessed*(We recommend fermentation fridges/chambers over glycol chilled)

We would also still recommend getting a CO2 Gas to be able to transfer to a keg/bottle/can or dispense directly out of the unit. As these units were designed to be fermenting and pressure transfer vessels for your delicious cargo.

If you are looking for a turnkey fermentation chamber solution, look no further than the RAPT Fermentation Chamber. Interconnect the new RAPT Pill Hydrometer along with the entire range of RAPT hardware like the Gen4 65L BrewZilla all in the same platform.

The new and improved FermZilla 55L brought to you by the critical key minds and engineers behind the original Gen1 and Gen2. But with all the tweaks that make it the most cost-effective conical fermenter to date!

The new FermZilla is a revolution in home brewing allowing home brewers and small micro-breweries a level of control that meets everyone's budget.  With the FermZilla you have many of the benefits of a much more expensive stainless conical fermenter but with the additional benefit of being able to see the fermentation process in action and also ferment at pressures up to 2.4bar.
This is an incredible product at an extremely attractive price point in all the different sizes and models.

What's new the difference between Gen2 and Gen3?
1. Moulded 3 inch tri clover ferrule in the body of the FermZilla tank
2. 3 inch Tri-Clover Butterfly Valve
3. 3 Inch Tri-Clover 600mL Collection Container

Please note:
When using this vessel under pressure. You must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof. To do this. Fill your FermZilla up with water, then apply a minimum of 15psi pressure to the vessel. Check for leaks around all Cap / Threads.

Occasionally these units may come with some small indentations/dimples/dents from shipping, this is just a reality of shipping large blow-moulded thin-walled vessels. But dont panic, these fermenters are designed to endure minor deformations such as this. This was a necessary implementation into the design so that they can withstand some accidental suction from cold crashing and rough handling in transit without compromising their integrity and ability to endure high pressures. All small dents will push out and settle with use and positive pressure and are only an issue and warrant replacement in the rare event they start to show white stress patterns or have damaged the plastic.

Keeping the units out of direct sunlight is a must for all PET fermenters. Sunlight degrades PET.
Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 35°C and pressure ferment past 5psi at these temperatures.

Please note:
When using this vessel under pressure. You must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof before you fill the fermenter every time. To do this. Fill your FermZilla up with some water, then apply a minimum of 15psi pressure to the vessel. Check for leaks around all Cap / Threads by tipping it upside down, in all directions where there are risks of leakage.

Cheap cheap cheap!

"For the price you can't complain about these vessels. The three inch valve coupled with the tank geometry and plastic internal makes yeast-offs and hops out difficult but you have to improvise."
