"Yeah it's good. Solid thick glass. A small gripe is that it's in US unit of 1 gallon = 3. 84 litres approx instead of metric of 4 litres. Oh well. I improved it by filling it in 250ml increments (using a 250ml +/- 2ml measuring cylinder) and then marking the level on the demijohn with a dremel - this way I can ACCURATELY fill/measure from 250ml to 3. 75 litres. This is great for making my batches of Irish Cream to fill 4 x 750ml bottles in one hit."
"I don’t recommend these. They come with a plastic insert cap and crew on top. None of my 1 gallon bungs fit. The bungs I do have fit on all my other 1 gallon demijohns. So the diameter of these are non standard. Could not use bubblers in them due to this fact. I guess after all fermentation is complete they would be suitable for stabilised brews. Due to residual CO2 gas they popped their tops and I got fruit flies in one. I had put the tops on loosely as I didn’t want ant explosions. The glass is not as thick either. They are inexpensive though and transport cost was reasonable."
"Bought 4 of these to start making mead. Compared to other similar listings online, these are great value and quality."
"Grabbed on of these a while back and it’s been a real solid bottle. Need a few more."
"My parcel arrived very quickly and was very well packaged so all was great when it arrived. I will happily deal with KegLand again when I need something else, they do carry quite a variety of goods."
