"Love the sturdy build, but the lid should have been 2mm wider for the seal. Very easy to have air leaks if not properly placed. The clamps are also wound too tight when closed so they could break someday. Overall good enough, but I've had to stop runs mid way due to finding a minor air leak. Especially at times when I've been refluxing for 30 minutes and find the leak."
"The new 3” triclover 35L lid is strong enough to allow a 6 plate column fully packed with SPP to be supported with strength to spare. The thicker than ordinary lid gasket fixes the seal issue of the digiboil. This one is a worthwhile upgrade."
