1.5" TC x 1/2" Female Thread (BSP) is very common within the homebrewing world and commercial sector.
This particular fitting is more often used for non-sanitary purpose transfers as there is an internal thread that is more difficult to clean.
However, this is the most popular fitting for 1.5" adapted glycol fermenter chilling solutions.
