This magnetic drive pump is the ideal pump for your brewing system needs. Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 120C it can handle the boil directly without the need to cool before use. Extremely efficient 1.1amp pump which can be run continuously at elevated temperatures.

A 1/2" ball valve is recommended on the outlet side to reduce the flow if you're using this for brewing purposes and don't want it to go full ball. Putting pressure from restrictive flow will not hurt a magnetically driven pump, it is precisely what this baby is used for.

It is not self priming, so it will need to be lower than the vessel primed with liquid before it can push it around. It is not submersible!

If you want to upgrade this pump to stainless steel head you can purchase this product KL03865 Stainless Steel 25w Pump Head.  Or if you want to upgrade to the full Tri-Clover (TC) Breakdown Pump Head with purge/PRV valve then click here

Waste of Money - Rubbish

"Purchased 2 of these pumps, both have failed within a week or so, warranty is a hassle, Apparently pumps must be installed in a correct position to have warranty, yet no instructions say this. Was happy to work through the warranty process but seems like just going around in circles, send a pump back, get sent another “tested”, faulty one Dont bother Dont waste your money."

Magnetic pump

"This is the fourth pump of this type I've bought and they work great, but I've had issues with 2 of them thats made them unusable,at the point where the power cable enters the main body over time the sheathing to the cable Frey's leaving a potentially dangerous hazard rendering the pump unusable. needs a fix. lo"

Spare pump

"Use as a seawater pump for aircon cooling on a yacht. Perfect with the ss pump housing. This pump is a spare, just incase"

I've used this once, and

"I've used this once, and it did everything expected of it. Initially, it was to direct wort chilled via a Red Reaper back into the kettle, then, when the temperature was right for pitching, directly into my fermenting vessel."

25W Magnetic pump

"I am using this pump to transfer water from HLT to Brewzilla. Very quiet operation. Ball valve added to restrict output flow. Barb fittings work well with silicone hose. Many different fittings available. I am also hoping to turn this into a keg cleaner. Good flow rate as specified."

pump

"Great little unit, I use this for my sparge, originally, I used just gravity, but that meant the tank was high up and hard to fill, I now have my tank lower so can easily refill the tank ad can see how much sparge water I am using"

Q&A

Hi, is it ok to use nitric acid (up to 0.5%) around 50 degC while cleaning the pipes and the pump or is there any recommendations for CIP type operations for this pump? Thanks.
We run StellarSan (phosphoric acid) at a pH of 2 with no issues. These pumps aren't really designed for CIP though - great flow but not much pressure
