Our new Freedom One Sodastream Adapter MKII - Does not have a quick disconnect feature. This has been removed to reduce the liklihood of the quick disconnects two washer seal design dislodging and blocking the hose rendering it unusable.

Please Note: This does not come with a CO2 Bottle, Or the SodaStream unit itself.

Our 2.6kg Gas bottles can carbonate up to 390L. With a refill (if you ever run out) costing about $25-35

We have included two options when drilling through your bench top to fit your hose. Either remove the stainless thread from the brass connection and drill a 14-15mm hole. You will need to use Lock-Tite glue or plumbers tape to get a good seal on this connection after you re-fit it.
Without removing the brass connection piece you would need to drill a 30mm hole to fit the bottle connection end through your bench top.

"I got the 1. ,8m hose and unlike in the video it did not come with a quick disconnect on the tank side. This means a bit of messing with the hose to DIN connector, and because the DIN is brass you need to be super careful not to damage the thread. A quick connector would make sense so it's easier to route the line through a bench or behind a cabinet."

"I made the decision to convert our Sodastream based on the very clear and no nonsense video your company has about attaching a 2. 6kg CO2 battle using the Kegland adapter kit instead of the 425g bottles. And calculated projected savings which in our household is about $500 a year, what a great Christmas present. I had a thought though that you will have to update your video with a disclaimer about the newer Sodastream model that don’t have screw in bottles (like the powered Terra model) as the kit I purchased wouldn’t work on it Also couldn’t figure out how to attach an image"

Does this fit the newer sodastream models such as the Art, Terra or Duo which use the pink quick fit bottle?

Hi, don't you need a regulator on the 2.6kg or even larger 6kg bottles to control the pressure? Would these bottles have higher pressures than the small 425ml bottles the SodaStream works with? Just want to understand if this adapter is all you need to operate it SAFELY? Thanks!
These are 100% fine without a regulator as SodaStream machines take care of that side.
