What is an Espetosul?

An Espetosul is a motorised battery-powered‚ rotisserie kit that was developed in Brazil. It was designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind and works by freestanding over your charcoal BBQ. No mounts are required! Providing your BBQ tub is less than 62 cm in diameter then this free-standing rotisserie kit will work.

How to use an Espetosul Rotisserie kit

To set up and use‚ an Expetosul Rotisserie kit is very easy. Say you have a 57cm Weber kettle and you purchased the Espetosul rotisserie, all you need to do is insert the 4 supplied AA batteries into the motor, then insert the skewer into the motor and lock it in place with the L-screw. Next, attach the prong, skewer your meat and rest the Espetosul on the weber BBQ body. It's that simple. Your favourite meat can now be spit roasted to perfection over a charcoal BBQ or on a hot gas grill.

The skewer can spin for 50 hours on 4 AA alkaline batteries and handle up to 5 kg of meat. Please don't be concerned about the rating of this motor, after testing the motor we discovered it is far stronger than most battery-powered motors on the market so the 5kg rating is definitely very conservative.
