This really handy device is great for filling kegs, keg to keg closed transfers or fermenter to keg transfers.

1 x KL20756 - duotight 8mm (5/16) x Ball Lock Disconnect - (Grey + Red Gas)
1 x KL02400 - duotight – 8mm (5/16”) Female x 8mm (5/16”) Female Push In Elbow
2 x KL06903 - duotight - 8mm (5/16”) Female x 5/8” Female Thread
1 x Acryllic Sight Glass with 5/8" Male Threads on each end
1 x Stainless Steel Spring
1 x Foam Floating Ball

How to use:

Simply attach this device to the output gas post of your Keg then when the keg is full it will prevent further liquid exiting the gas post. This means you can literally set and forget and fill kegs automatically without the risk of kegs overflowing all over the floor.

We highly recommend having back pressure on the flow stopper like a BlowTie Spunding valve at atleast 5psi. This will help prevent premature foaming of carbonated beer resulting in an underfilled keg.

Works Perfectly

"This is a must have if you're doing pressure transfers into kegs. I added 30cm of beer line, an 8mm to 6. 35mm duotight reducer and pushed a plastic carbonation cap into that. This traps any leaks out the top of the auto filler. I put a spunding valve on the carbonation cap and add 5psi to reduce foaming during transfer. Works a treat."

Q&A

Can this be used in a closed circuit transfer by hooking the output back to the fermenter?

How much pressure will this withstand? I ferment at 1-1.5bar, and would like to be able to keep that pressure while transferring to the keg.
1.5 bar will not be an issue :)
