HEAT UP TIME CALCULATOR
The calculator below can be used to work out how long it will take to heat up your water in the Robobrew.  Please note that this is heating efficiency not brewing efficiency below.  If you are using the Robobrew Jacket you will have about 95% efficiency but if you are not using the jacket then you will get about 85% efficiency (as you will have 15% heat loss into the atmosphere).

Easy to use and clean

"The Brewzilla is easy to use and also to clean afterwards. My only issue is the lack of assembly instructions. The online video also lacks some clarity. I had some "extra" bits I didn't know the use for and also a fine mesh screen was missing (this was mentioned on the video). Customer service at Kegland was very good. They explained things for me including the function of the "bits" and that the fine screen isn't included anymore."

You'll never regret getting this

"I knew NOTHING about beer and still don't. Don't even know the different types of beer. Bought this and tried it - first batch went well, followed instructions, it was easy. On to my third batch and can't wait to experiment with different grains, yeasts and hops. It's so exciting. My neighbour has done this for years and thought I'd try too. Why did I wait so long?????"

All you need for brewing

"No frills and no fuss, does what it's supposed to. The display being at the bottom is a bit of a pain, but a small price to pay"

An easy and fun brewing experience

"This is a fantastic piece of equipment for entry level all grain brewing. It is so easy to use, operates almost autonomously and just makes all grain brewing an absolute pleasure After investigating different units, I ended up purchasing this one mainly down to the cost, and I am impressed. For what you get, it is unbeatable, and I highly recommend this one!"

Great little set up. ideal

"Great little set up. ideal for those of us just stepping up to all-grain home brewing. It was well packaged, (I kept the box for clean storage purposes), very easy to put together, and easy to use. The programmable controller is simple to use, effective and extremely useful. Although it took me a couple of minutes to figure out why my timer wasn't switching the elements off, the timer is in hours and minutes, not minutes and seconds. (so use to my previous timer!). The one thing that i need to follow up on is the temperature settings. I wanted to set the temp at just over 100 deg C to maintain a rolling boil. The controller only went to 99 deg C and then displayed "HH" if I went higher, and then back to 1, 2, 3,. . . . . etc. I could control the boil by turning elements on/off manually. (Note. this was a small batch of <15L using up my last extract ingredients. The small element didn't have enough heat but the large element created excessive boiling. Maybe when I do a full batch size it will be ok). The recirculating pump worked really well. Separation via the screens makes cleaning up a doddle. So glad I made the switch after procrastinating for so long. At the moment I am "cubing" the wort to allow it to cool overnight, although a cooling coil was part of the kit. I need to set up a cooling water system so I can recover the water used, being on tank water i am very conscious of water usage. Looking forward to my next brew. . . all grain here we come. . . . such fun!"
