Bluestone Yeast Co. - Munich is a traditional German yeast strain which is used to produce world class weizen beers where a big banana aroma is required.

This strain balances the big banana aroma with mild clove, and will produce amazing German wheat beers.

Munich will create a slightly higher level of acidity to give your beer a very crisp finish.

We highly recommend a Dry Ice Pack or two for your yeasts voyage OR for a short stay in our pick up lockers in the warmer months of the year.
Please choose Australia Post Express if you want to reduce the the risk of transit time delay and its affect on your yeast.

This strain balances the big banana aroma with mild clove, and will produce amazing German wheat beers.

Munich will create a slightly higher level of acidity to give your beer a very crisp finish.

Slightly underpitching will help increase the banana character.

To ensure a healthy fermentation it is a good idea to incorporate some yeast nutrient in your brewing. You can purchase some here.
