very easy to brew , with only ;limited extra ingredients

"Black Rocks Cider Kit is so user friendly compared to many other home brewing kits. The can lid has a very well designed " pull ring" to open it without the need for a can opener. The ingredients required unlike other cider kits, only needed one ingredient, brewing sugar and the yeast under the cap. Other cider kits in pouches are much more clumsy to open, much more expensive and require at least sweeteners and brew sugars plus yeast to achieve the same result."

Decent kit

"I've probably made this kit a dozen times and I like it the most out of all the other brands because they don't add sweeteners or preservatives. I think the flavour doesn't quite cut though like it should though, I would recommend mixing it up to the 20L mark instead of the suggested 23L to help with that. It's also an opportunity to try adding different flavours like hops and malt etc. because of the clearer flavour of the kit. I highly recommend it overall."

It's ok but missed the mark for me.

"Created as per instructions. Quick to get started with yeast activity, made in a non pressure fermzilla with an airlock bubbler. Let it run for 15 days as there was still activity, raised the temp slightly at the end to finish off. Tasted today and was a little disappointed after making a great Black Rock Pale Ale. Not big on flavor, a mix of apple and kit twang in the mouth and within a minute, wondering if i'd had one as the flavor leaves fast. It's also far from sweet. Very minimal trub left at the end, so i'd be inclined to reduce the water volume by a fair bit (ie don't do 23 litres). Would i make it again? Maybe as an experiment with less water volume. It's ok but i don't see it as a guzzler and it might take me a while to use to the keg."
