These 5L barrels are hand made from American White Oak and flamed to a medium toast. Great for ageing beer, wine and spirits.

The barrels are not plastic/aluminium foil lined or use rubberised bladder like some that we have seen on the market.

Please ensure you crack the lid open slightly when dispensing, and always refill to the top after a tasting session.

Failure to follow these directions will void warranty.

These barrels are 100% American white oak with a medium toast inside and a raw un-varinshed outside. This means more care needs to be taken to keep these barrels in tip top shape. But ultimately you will have the best possible product as a result, and much more flexibility in maintaining a leak free barrel.

Same wine barrel bought for

"Same wine barrel bought for my son through a local tassie brewing company, it was $75 cheaper through keg land. I like the idea of no liner in it, like some of the opposition, have it filled 1/2 full with Capt Morgan spiced Rum added a piece of licorice to it. Thanks for the sale. Will probably look at another keg later on year for some home brew beer."
