This Pressure Pack features a unique floating racking tube that can be used for taking samples, keg transfers, or serving finished beer. This innovative feature draws beer from the top down, which means you’re always pulling the clearest, most sediment-free beer possible. Using pressure to draw a sample from the floating dip tube will also eliminate the tiny bit of oxygen that would be injected into your beer every time the traditional sample valve is opened.

4 Inch Tri-Clover BrewBuilt Lid

Pressure transferring from fermenter to keg is the best way to protect your beer from oxygen when it’s at its most vulnerable state. Kegging could be considered the final hurdle in the brewing process, where limiting oxygen exposure is critical. This could mean the difference between your beer tasting great for months or tasting great for a week. Don’t take any chances. Use the Pressure Pack to keg from the top down and leave sediment behind.

Installs on the 4 Inch Tri-Clover port welded into the lid of the BrewBuilt X1 Uni Conical. The 1.5 Inch Tri-Clover port on the pressure lid can be used for adding dry hops for or attaching a Tri-Clover pressure relief valve during pressure fermentations. The welded hook underneath the pressure lid can be used to hang bagged hops or other additions.

If you're interested in fermenting under pressure with the X1 Uni, we recommend pairing the Pressure Pack with the Pressure Fermentation Kit (Coming soon)

A quality product!! I actually

"A quality product!! I actually use it with the 118ltr keg which I use as a Brite Tank to condition the beer in. I firstly drill and tap a 1/4 BSP thread into the unit and install a 1/4 PRV KL3208 with a Red PTV KL05333 and use a KL40976 Pressure Gauge this gives good accurate pressure readings. To monitor the amount of beer in the Tank I drill a 13. 5mm hole in a 2. 000 Tri-Clover End Cap and install a Gas Ball Lock Post KL03179 this get hooked up to one of the 2. 000 Ports at the bottom of the tank with a Duo Tight 9. 5 connection Red KL20770 and some 9. 5 hose to give you a Sight Glass to see how much beer is left in the Tank. . see images"

Handy upgrade

"Nice useful upgrade to the conical. Manufacturing quality is high. Keg posts are tight but its all manageable."

Very solid though posts close to tri clover

"Really solid and high quality like all the Brewbuilt stuff. There are a couple of downsides though. The liquid and gas posts are quite close to the tri-clover bulkhead and unless you use a thin tri-clover clamp and position it just right you can struggle to get the ball lock disconnects on. Also, the floating dip tube and filter work best when it's got a little weight added to it. Without this sometimes the beer line can stick up above the beer which can be frustrating. Just find the right weight stainless nut or washer and this is solved. Both these issues are easily fixed once you have used them a couple of times."
