3.3L Oxygen Disposable Gas Cylinder (O2)

Pure oxygen is the best way to get your yeast off to a cracking start.  Simply use this high pressure and high capacity disposable tank to boost dissolved oxygen levels in your cooled wort.

We would recommend the use of a diffusion stone.  These small diffusion stones create very fine bubbles of oxygen in your wort and help the oxygen to dissolve into solution faster.  If you want a really nice option we would recommend the use of an oxygenation wand, available in 2 Micron or 0.5 Micron kits

Directions for use:
This cylinder must be used with an approved pressure regulator. KegLand can not guarantee untested regulators on this cylinder will work.
We would recommend using the KL02165 KegLand M12 Inert Gas Regulator.  
For homebrewing oxygenation, we would also recommend the following products:
KB02097 2 Micron Oxygenation/Aeration Wand duotight kit or
KL39055 0.5 Micron Oxygenation / Aeration Wand Kit with screwlock duotight Elbow
KL13185 Oxygen flow meter Including duotight - 8mm (5/16) x FFL
These products will allow you to accurately oxygenate your wort prior to pitching yeast.

1. Remove the protection cap from the valve.
2. Connect the regulator to the cylinder valve. Attach the regulator to the top of your disposable cylinder.  Turn pressure up to 10-20psi.  With a sanitised oxygenation wand with 0.5 or 2 micron stone  immerse the diffusion stone in wort at the lowest possible point for 1-2 minutes.
NOTE: Wort must be cold.  It is extremely difficult to get oxygen to dissolve into hot wort so it's essential to cool wort completely before starting this process.
There may be some gas escaping as you're screwing on so screw the gas cylinder into the regulator quickly to limit this loss, continue to screw on until gas stops.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are removing the regulator at any point you MUST use a spanner to hold the brass neck of the cylinder. Failure to do so could cause the strong adhesive glue to crack and the cylinder detach from the fitting. 

WARNING: Contains gas under pressure, may explode if heated. Pressurised Container, ensure cylinder is empty before disposal. Do not expose to naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep out of reach of children, only use in well ventilated areas.
