Golden coloured, superb head retention and a clean yet rich toasted honey like sweetness assisted by the lower attenuation of the Schooner variety make this malt well suited to many craft beer styles.
Voyager Veloria malt was designed to be the ultimate single malt for summer pale ales and immediately gained recognition in the craft brewing community for its unique characteristics.
Using the rare Schooner variety grown right on the Voyager farm in Riverina NSW, Veloria has characteristics more aligned with older English varieties.

"This is my goto full bodied sweeter malt that requires no other additions for a killer beer. Very sililar to Golden Primise but made right here in Aus. Love Voyager malts and will do what I haVe to to get it here in SA. Lager, pale, IPA, you name it I will use it, latest is a 4. 2% SMaSH session ale paired with Audacia hops, bloody not to shabby at all."

"The Voyager malts are a good find and considerably cheaper than imported equivalents. The Veloria makes a very good substitute for Maris Otter, the Atlas makes a good light German lager and the Pale is looking really good in an Australian Ale (still fermenting) - lighter than I expected, maybe much like Coopers Pale Ale. Reccommended."
