This Bulk Carton gives you more flexibility over a 20kg sack by allowing you to add the required amount of DME to the kilo and also minimising wastage due to moisture getting into the opened sack of leftover Dried Malt Extract.
This dark DME will contribute a more intense sweet, malty flavour to your beer and will contribute additional flavour to your brew.
It is also suitable for use in yeast starters with the addition of a little yeast nutrient to give your brew the best possible start.

"Appearance in the bag does not look like dark dried malt. Appearance in the beer, that's an "old beer," does not have the clarity that a true dark dried malt would show, and finally the taste of that beer which is very important, is not that of a dark dried malt. If I had to give it a name, it would be an "Amber Dried Malt". I won't buy this malt again for my "Black Beers. ""
"Nothing wrong with this product. Packaging for a product that weighs 20kg is definitely not up scratch. That was further compounded by the careless handling by "Couriers Please. " Next time I will ask Kegland to use a better freight company."

My dark malt that I was using from different company was dark brown in looks. But I'm using the light malt and will deal with the difference in colour. Thanks you elaine."
